Title: [abstract] H3-GABA BINDING BY SYNAPTOSOMES UNDER PRESSURE OF 101 ATA.

Abstract: BACKGROUND. The work was undertaken to reveal mechanisms of disturbances in the GABA-ergic mediatory system of the brain at HPNS. METHODS. The synaptosomes from the whole brain of mice were put into tubes with H3-GABA. Into some tubes the uptake inhibitor - desipramin was added, and then in 10 experiments for 1 h they were compressed at 37 C under normoxic conditions. After explosive decompression radioactivity of the synaptosomes was defined by means of scentilative counter. RESULTS of the investigation are given in the table: Gaseous mixture H3-ABA binding, imp/min without desipramin with desipramin; Control (air,1 ata) 30148+-2324 21234+-1818; Heliox 18318+-1845* 14312+-2651*; Nitrox 21342+-1913 18321+-1845; 15%-trimix 11251+-1645* 12514+-1141*; CONCLUSION. The data obtained can demonstrate decrease in affinity of GABA receptors and drop in the level of mediator uptake under effect of high pressure of heliox. Under the level of pressure investigated nitrogen in the composition of nitrox and trimix rendered a weak influence on both processes.
